Mini-course: Analysis of Incompressible Fluid Flows: an Approach via Evolution Equations

Abstract:
We present an analytic approach toward the problems related to incompressible fluid flows using evolution equations. Reformulating the Navier-Stokes and related equations as evolution equations we can use the recent advances of mathematical analysis and one-parameter C_0-Semigroup theory to handle such evolution equations leading to applications in concrete problems of fluid dynamic.
