Un
congrès commun de la Société mathématique de France (SMF) et de la Société
mathématique du Vietnam (VMS) aura lieu du 20 au 24 Août 2012 à Hué. Hué
est une ancienne capitale et est située au centre du Vietnam.
Le
congrès comprendra des conférences plénières et des sessions parallèles et éventuellement
une session de posters. Il y sera aussi organisé des conférences d’intérêt
général, des discussions sur
la coopération mathématique entre la France et le Vietnam, la place des
mathématiques dans la société, et en particulier sur les liens entre les
mathématiques et l’industrie.
Le
congrès est organisé par la SMF, la VMS et l’Université de Hué.

Đây là hội nghị phối hợp của Hội Toán
học Pháp (SMF) và Hội Toán học
Việt Nam (VMS), sẽ được tổ chức tại ĐH Huế, từ 20 đến 24 tháng 8, năm 2012. Huế là cố đô của
Việt Nam và nằm ở giữa đất nước.
Hội nghị có các báo cáo mời toàn thể,
các tiểu ban và các thông báo ngắn. Ngoài ra còn có báo cáo có nội dung đại
chúng, các buổi thảo luận về hợp tác toán học giữa hai nước, cũng như vai
trò của Toán trong xã hội nói chung và mối quan hệ giữa Toán và Công nghiệp
nói riêng.
Hội nghị do hai Hội Toán học và ĐH Huế
tổ chức.

A joint congress of the French
Mathematical Society (SMF) and the Vietnam Mathematical Society (VMS) will
take place at the University of Hue from August 20 to August 24, 2012. Hue
is a former capital and
located in the centre of Vietnam.
The congress will include plenary
talks and parallel sessions. It may include a poster session. There will be
also talks of general interest, discussions on the cooperation in
mathematics between France and Vietnam, and the role of mathematics in the
society, in particular the relationship between mathematics and industry.
This congress is organised by SMF,
VMS and the University of Hue.
